Sick Again….Damn The Rich!!

by dkinson on December 16, 2010

I must tell you that the rich eat different that you and I do. Dinner , with Brady while was exceptional and I still look back at the key lime pie and cheese cake we come home from PAPPA’S with the other night, as 2 slices of perfection, I spent all day in a race to the toilet. Seems the “dry aged beef” was a bit too much for me

For those of you that don’t know “dry aged beef” is beef that they aged in the back it is dry and can sit on a rack for as much as 60 days. Some people might call it controlled rotting but it does something to the flavor that is exceptional, and really my steak was exceptional so my hats off to PAPPA’S and to Mr. Brady.

However I paid the price for all the rich food yesterday and was back and forth to the toilet with the taste of aged beef letting the way I feel better this morning let’s hope it holds ha-ha

Yesterday I was pretty much sidelined because of it. I would sleep a little then the alarm would sound and off I would go to the porcelain god ha-ha I hope I can sleep this morning but here I sit so how is that telling you I am doing.

I Saw the DR, the other day and took the plunge and asked for either a cart or a wheelchair as walking is getting really difficult. My legs seem to be full of weight, I have to pick them up and add them to the car, and it just seems odd

I got my SSI determination in the mail. It looks like I was appeared but am not getting the back pay from when I originally filed, which sucks. Rett and I wanted to take a trip on that cash and now nothing. So maybe I am wrong we will have to see,

ON THE MEDICAL FRONT

Feeling still a tad ooky from the aged beef, Got chemo postponed until first of next week because I am doing a bucket list item Sunday, supposedly if this all clears up and the rest of the things line up, but we shall see.

A wheelchair is looming in the horizon with my name on it and for once I am actually looking forward to it. Maybe it will mean easier to get around. Let us hope,
